1. Target
Members of performing arts organizations established in Korea
Employees of public and private performance venues, performance planning companies, cultural foundations, and performing arts organizations
Performing artists and staff active on the domestic professional stage
2. Benefits for Performing Artists
Preferential discount when booking via the Arts Theater website or phone. [ARKO Performing Artist Member] discount applied. (Applicable to member attendance only; discount rate/number of purchases varies by performance)
3. How to Apply
[Submit Supporting Documents and Apply for Registration] → [Administrator Review (Takes 3–5 business days)] → [Approved/Rejected]
You can check your approval/rejection history in the [My Page → Edit Personal Information] menu.
4. Supporting documents
Membership card of a performing arts organization established in Korea
Certificate of Employment: Issued within the last 3 months (* Employee ID cards or business cards are not accepted)
Professional Stage Arts Certification
Program Books Appearing in: Performance information for works performed within the last year (performance title, performance period, theater), including applicant's job title and name (excluding school performances)
Artist Pass: Screenshot of mobile version or back of physical card (* Certificate of Artistic Activity not accepted)
※ Please be careful not to expose unique identification numbers (personal information such as Resident Registration Numbers) when submitting supporting documents. Documents containing such information will be automatically rejected. Thank you. ※ The validity period of the 'Certificate of Artistic Activity' is 5 years, and since it is impossible to verify whether the applicant is engaged in performing arts activities at the time of submission of the materials, it cannot be used as supporting documentation.
5. Other Notes
If false information is entered, all benefits will be cancelled, and separate civil action will be taken regarding the benefits.
Performing artist membership is granted for a validity period of two years from the date of approval.
After the validity period expires, you must reapply through the same process.
Works (performances or events) related to the school curriculum and works (performances or events) related to degree acquisition cannot be used as proof.
