  • Arko Dream Field Theater

  • Following the closure of the Hakjeon Small Theater in 2024, the Arts Council Korea remodeled the performance hall to address the threat of extinction of small theaters in Daehangno and opened it as the Arko Dream Field Theater in July. It was operated through a private consignment system before officially starting direct operation in April 2025. The name Dream Field was decided through a national proposal and vote, and it carries the meaning of a place where children's dreams grow. The committee raised a separate budget through the Dream Field Funding to improve the auditorium, dressing room, and performance hall. Going forward, we aim to provide high-quality services that combine the know-how of operating the Arko and Daehangno Arts Theaters with the development of children's and youth performances and the direct audiences and organizations that use it, and to become the best children's-centered theater in Korea in name and reality.
